I started my adventure with photography when I was very young, shooting sunsets and landscapes like I suspect most photographers do. Somewhere there’s a box full of orange colored prints with wavy clouds breaking the color, long since faded from the years since they were printed.
Throughout the years I have captured many memories for my clients. I have enjoyed sharing their wedding days, portraits with their children, and many special events that have filled their lives. I feel privileged to have been a part of it all and look forward to future endeavors.
Recent years have led me to photograph another subject matter I am quite passionate about: Animals, mostly companion types. Several years ago I began volunteering my photography services to the local shelter for the adoption ads of their pet population, a task I have been overjoyed with since I began. The number of pets I have photographed over the years is astronomical and I have found myself engrossed in many projects involving those images.
I still do shelter photography to this day and encourage other professional photographers to do the same. It’s amazing that a talent many of us take for granted can actually helps save the lives of countless numbers of animals, simply by capturing their inner beauty with an image. An image needed to draw the eye of today’s public. Images that show what beautiful animals can actually be found in shelters across the US. It's more rewarding that I could ever express.
