What is the difference between a "proof" and a "print"?
A "proof" is the original image captured during an event, the unedited shot that comes off the camera. They are not the finished product. They are used simply as a point of reference.
"Proofs" are normally marked "Proof Only". In rare cases these marks are absent..
Definition of "PROOF" as pertaining to Photography and Printing.*Printing a trial impression, as of composed type, taken to correct errors and make
alterations.
*One of a number of early and impressions taken before the printing of the
ordinary issue: to pull a proof.
So, a "print" is the finished product of a "proof". It is the original image after it has been tweaked to perfection.
A proof is reviewed and changed many times before becoming a print.

Understand that these are "proofs" and not necessarily quality photographs. They come with a "proof" symbol faded into the image.

Portrait and Event Terms
* A $50 deposit is required when booking your session. Balance of your package price is due at time of session. Deposit is notrefundable.
* In case of emergency one reschedule is allowed but must be made at earliest possible date. Rescheduling must be within 30 days of your
original booking date.
* Additional fees apply to locations beyond 15 miles of Jackson, MO. Please inquire about current travel prices.
* Proofs are made available online 1-3 weeks after session or event.
"A Private affair"
Payment, in full, is due at time of booking. Payment is non refundable.
All other packages
1. A deposit of $400.00 is payable the day your date is booked and contract is signed. This amount will be credited to your package price and is for holding your date. This deposit is non-refundable.
2.The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding.
3. Full payment must be made within 30 days of the ceremony date or photographer will not arrive.
* All fees for a minimum party must be paid 7 days prior to party. Additional guest fees will be collected the day of the party.
* Proofs are made available online 1-2 weeks after event.
* Package portraits must be picked within 7 days of being made available online, or photographer will select a pose for your package.
* Due to the nature of Portrait Parties, guests unable to attend will not be entitled to a refund.
What are acceptable forms of payment?
Personal checks and cash.
Paypal is used for credit card and check card payments.
Basic editing is included in all shots you choose for your albums and prints. But VIP touching goes a bit beyond the basics of lighting, color, and crop correction.
VIP touching is the added retouching to your most important shots. With this process we smooth skin, remove blemishes, whiten teeth, brighten eyes, and more.
May I get my finished photographs on a disc?
You may purchase finished digital files priced at the current 11x14 print price.
Files will be finished and in the highest resolution possible. A courtesy, web sized file, will accompany every digital file purchased for easy online sharing. A release for use will be issued for each file purchased.
Proofs are available in an online gallery designated just for your photos. As soon as they are uploaded yu will receive an email containing a link to your own personal online album.
Should you like your proofs on disc, we can do so for $1.00 per proof photo and all proofs available must be purchased.
It is important to remember that "Proofs" are unedited shots, contain a faded "proof" mark across the photo, and are at a low resolution file. They are unsuitable and unintended for print.

How long will I have to choose the shots for my wedding package?
Proofs will be available for viewing online for 30 days. We ask that you make your package selections within those 30 days. Family and friends will be able to order from your album after you have had a chance to view the online albums privately.
